Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodhunt

In the thrilling world of Bloodhunt, where crossplay and cross-platform options abound, camaraderie flourishes as comrades wielding diverse devices unite for epic battles.

These features seamlessly connect friends across gaming platforms, transcending hardware boundaries to create a vibrant multiplayer experience.

As you explore solo adventures within the Bloodhunt realm, a pressing question arises: Can you effectively link up with friends who utilize different devices?

This query lies at the heart of the game’s multiplayer dynamics, shaping the way players collaborate and strategize in the heat of battle.

Before diving into multiplayer mayhem, it’s crucial to address a pivotal caveat surrounding Bloodhunt’s crossplay and cross-platform functionality.

While the game facilitates inter-device camaraderie, potential limitations or compatibility issues may arise, influencing the fluidity of gameplay and the ease of uniting with companions across various platforms.

Nevertheless, Bloodhunt remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering a cohesive gaming community. Through its crossplay and cross-platform features, the game endeavors to bridge divides and unite players in a shared gaming experience that knows no bounds.

Does Bloodhunt Unite Players Across Platforms?

In Bloodhunt, players from both PC and PS5 can join the same game lobbies. This helps make matchmaking faster.

However, cross-platform friends cannot team up or play together. Developer Sharkmob explains that while PC and PS5 players can play in the same lobbies, they can’t form mixed groups, add cross-platform friends, or team up.

“Crossplay in Bloodhunt only happens as you enter the Prague map, where the matches take place. This means that you can encounter players from other platforms once a match starts.

The Elysium (our game lobby) is platform specific, so you cannot group up with players from other platforms while you are in the Elysium. You can, however, fight them once you have entered Prague.”

Your progress in Bloodhunt is locked to your console, preventing platform transfers. You cannot select your teammates despite enabling crossplay with others on different platforms.

This means your gaming circle is limited to those on the same platform. Unfortunately, this restricts the possibility of forming alliances across platforms. For instance, coordinating with friends on PC and PS5 isn’t feasible.

Therefore, while crossplay broadens your potential opponents, the absence of cross-platform alliances in Bloodhunt’s system is noticeable, owing to its limitations.

Future Plans For Crossplay in Bloodhunt?

Currently, there needs to be more clarity surrounding whether Bloodhunt will introduce the ability for players to team up with friends across different consoles. The developer, Sharkmob, has not officially confirmed this feature.

Whether or not crossplay and cross-platform functionality will be implemented remains to be discovered. This potential addition may hinge on the level of demand the player community expresses.

The absence of a definitive statement from Sharkmob leaves players eagerly awaiting news on the possibility of cross-play. This feature has become increasingly popular in the gaming community, allowing players on different platforms to play together seamlessly.

Crossplay could significantly enhance the gaming experience for Bloodhunt players, enabling them to join forces with friends regardless of their chosen gaming platform.

However, until Sharkmob makes an official announcement addressing crossplay, players are left speculating about the future of this feature in Bloodhunt.

The demand from the gaming community may influence the developer’s decision-making process regarding the implementation of cross-platform functionality.

As such, players are encouraged to voice their opinions and preferences regarding this potential addition to the game.
