• Download TShock from GitHub and unzip the file. You’ll find several files inside.

• Get the Crossplay plugin from GitHub. Place the Crossplay.dll file in the ServerPlugins folder.

• Then, launch the TerrariaServer.exe file to start TShock, which opens a black window.

•  Configure TShock.

• Type a number to choose a world to start your server with. You can pick a new world each time you start the server, or create a new one if you prefer.

• Choose your server port. The usual port for a Terraria server is 7777.

• When the server is up, a message will appear saying, “To setup the server, join the game and type /setup [number code].” Remember this number code for later.

• Open Terraria and connect to your server.

• Once in the game, enter the setup code you wrote down earlier.

• Type “/user add [username] [password] owner” to make an owner account. Use your own username and password in place of username and password, and do not include the brackets.

• Log into your server with “/login [username] [password]”.

• Type “/setup” to complete the setup.
