The R6 marketplace became fully operational on June 25, 2024. Previously, it was in its beta phase. Gamers can purchase and trade virtual items in different groups.

What is Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace

Players can trade with each other in the marketplace. At the moment, you can choose items from these categories:

• Uniforms  
• Weapon Skins  
• Card Backgrounds  
• Headgears  
• Drone Skins  
• Attachment Skins  
• Charms

The item’s rarity affects its price. Other factors like supply and demand also impact the cost.

For example, if many players want to buy a specific item and only a few are selling it, the price goes up.

This is common in the first days after a launch. Some players try to manipulate the market if they have unique equipment.

Important: R6 Credits are required for buying and selling items on the R6 marketplace. It’s not possible to trade with others through any other method.

How to Sign Up for R6 Marketplace

The marketplace is now officially open to everyone. No special invitation is needed to join. Here is how to sign up for the R6 marketplace:

• Search “R6 marketplace” on Google and click the first link.  
• Click the big blue “Log in to Trade” button.  
• Sign in with your Ubisoft account.  
• Accept the terms of service.  
• Begin trading your favorite items.

After completing these simple steps, you will be taken to the main marketplace page. There, you will see all the item categories mentioned earlier in our guide.

Rainbow Six Siege Marketplace Requirements

While the Rainbow Six Siege marketplace is available to everyone, players need to fulfill specific criteria to participate in trading. This is to prevent bots and scammers.

New players might see a notification about this when they enter the marketplace.

“You do not currently meet the requirements to trade in the Marketplace. If you are already at least Clearance Level 25, verify your eligibility by completing an in-game Multiplayer match where you earn XP. For more details, please visit the FAQ section.”

You need to reach Clearance Level 25 before you can purchase or exchange items. You have to play more matches to meet this requirement. This is the only condition you need to meet for now.

With the R6 Siege Rank Boost feature, you are able to reach your desired rank and accumulate plenty of XP to unlock the marketplace.

How to Buy on R6 Marketplace

This section of the guide provides full instructions on how to purchase on the R6 marketplace.

• Click the “Purchase” button on the main page.
• Select the type of item (for example, Headgear).
• Enter the item name you wish to purchase.
• Apply filters if necessary (e.g., sort by last sale price from high to low).
• Select the items you wish to purchase.

Set the amount of R6 Credits you want to spend and place your order.

There are a few things to remember when using the R6 marketplace. First, always check the “Last sold at” window.

Matching this price increases the chance of a quick trade. Also, look at the current price range. Finally, review the 30-day price history diagram.
