All Star Game 2014

Each summer, Major League Baseball in the United States hosts an All-Star game to showcase all of its best players. This year, the game was hosted at Target Field, right across from ad agency Olson in Minneapolis.

We build a massive Instagram application using 10 projectors showing on 10 windows in our building. Fans could tag their photos with #olsonasw, and a PHP service layer would gather up the images for approval, be approved via a simple mobile web interface, then downloaded and displayed by a custom built Adobe AIR app, which sequences 10 projectors across 5 computers using sockets.

M&C Saatchi Gets People Thinking With ‘Mind Pong’

Mind Pong is a two player game similar to Ping Pong. Based on the iconic arcade game, Pong, Mind Pong has one significant difference: it uses breakthrough electroencephalography (EEG) technology to read brain waves. With no need for handheld controls, a simple Velcro-attached headband monitors electrical activity in players’ brains, connecting to a large format digital screen. Players can move the on-screen paddle up and down by simply concentrating (up) or relaxing (down).

Let’s not forget the @gamua #starling framework too, great to make games for installations with #as3 #flash pic.twitter.com/LE9T57temR
