In this project, we call for online entries of lantern shade designs. One hundred designs will be selected based on an online poll. Using the selected designs, we will produce lantern shades and send lanterns with those shades to people living without electricity.

JH3D preview

Finally I implement a full HDR rendering pipeline with my own engine JH3D (3D game engine for Adobe Flash 11+). Of cause there is no floating texture at the moment. I used logLuv pack for out putting. For log luminance, I used 2 channels for packing luminance value and 1 channel for stroring the sign. Finnaly, compiled the whole scene with human eye adaption and Uncharted 2 tone mapping operator.

The main features of this demo are:

  • HDR pipeline ( luminance adaption, exposure adjust, bloom, contrast adjust, color balance, saturation adjust, gamma correction)
  • Cascaded shadow mapping with PCF filtering
  • Procedural vegetation animation.
  • Pre-GPU-based light map baking( sky light, shadow map, AO, hdr format(LogLuv packed)).

We finally have the virtual tour we were building using Minko ready. It actually performs brilliantly and loads quite fast for a 3D walkthrough all thanks to Stage3D, Minko and a little smart loading of ATF at run time.
Will be releasing the tablet versions soon.

Players can sign up for a closed beta that is expected to launch before year’s end, though Ubisoft hasn’t announced an official launch date for EndWar Online yet.

WinSense is designed to explore 3D spaces using the movements and gestures of the human body by MS Kinect technology. 5 scenes, they aredesigned completely with 3D Max 2013 and exported by Flare3D.

Light, shadows and reflections are played in Full HD at 60fps.
