Hi AS3/Air developers, The wait is finally over and I am so happy today to be announcing the news of releasing our augmented reality air native extension supporting both Android and iOS. We have been working on this extension since early 2014! 10 challenging months! and I really mean it, it was the most challenging and the most complicated ane we have ever built. if you have been following myappsnippet.com for the past two years, you know that we have been releasing Android extensions only but we always knew that something big was missing with an extension without its iOS version.
We didn’t have an obj-C developer on the team and finding the right person who has a correct understanding of OOP programming is really hard (you know this if you have ever tried to hire a new programmer) besides that, the new developer should have been a little familiar with AS3 too… after many tries, we were totally disappointed with the idea of finding a new developer mastering all the skills we require for this position. the solution was to start learning! so we started to learn obj-C in XCode. and the outcome has been awesome. just having the AR work in our Air app on iOS along with Android without a glitch was a relief that made us forget all the troubles we went through with a hundreds of bugs/problems we were facing each damn day!
