HLAG is a high level shader language that compiles to AGAL code for use in Adobe Flash or Adobe AIR projects.
From Ross Mcverry:
Written in AIR for creating AGAL from high level shader code. Its still early alpha at the moment but i’d like to get some feedback from Flash Developers on what could be done for improvements. It exports as an XML format which I am hoping other engines will support if it becomes more popular. I will provide documentation soon but there is some information on the website.
Philip Thonbo: “This is a 3D test i did in Flash player 11 from a model we used in another project, the model is not optimized for runtime rendering and consist of nearly 90.000 polygons - in this lab you can zoom in and out of the model, rotate it and change colors and shine with keyboard controls”.
Comet ISON Interactive Model
Built with Flash 11 / AGAL shaders
Update (from Michal Sadlon):
Unfortunately, comet ISON is dead, so model is not very useful for users.
And I think, that our core model of solar system www.solarsystemscope.com
with planets, stars and constellations will be much better, it was made by the same way.
